Most Common Mistakes When Filing a Tax Return:
(1) Social Security numbers are missing or don't match name(s)
(2) Incorrect or missing documents (such as W2's, 1099's, 1098's, stock transactions)
(3) Incorrect Filing Status
(4) Not filing a return when due a refund
(5) Failing to figure whether you are liable for the Alternative Minimum Tax
(6) Submitting wrong taxable Social Security benefits
(7) Mailing your return to the wrong address
(8) Taking a standard deduction when itemizing deductions could save money to the taxpayer
